Things have been busy at of Burnside of Ballintomb furniture makers, and as the swallows swoop through the open door of the workshop, another piece of bespoke furniture comes to life!
This time it is an Atlantic salmon chair, handmade in solid oak, and with Salmo salar hand carved in the the centre back panel. The tops of the chair legs are adorned with turned thistles, and the chair bottom is ergonomically shaped and carved for comfort. After sanding with five grades of sandpaper, the whole piece is hand finished with Danish oil and beeswax. I hope that
